Supplied-air respirators can protect employees
OSHA regulations require employers to provide respirators when necessary to protect the health of employees (29 CFR 1910.134).  Supplied-air respirators can protect employees from exposure to MDI during spray application and may in fact be necessary to meet OSHA or other governmental workplace requirements.

Setting up a spill clean-up plan may help quick clean up
Setting up a spill clean-up plan may help you quickly clean up product if a spill or leak occurs. Protecting people first, then minimizing environmental releases and protecting property will help prevent people from being exposed to potentially harmful levels of MDI. Of course, any spill should be addressed in compliance with U.S. environmental laws and in accordance with the manufacturers MSDS.

CPI signed Alliances with OSHA
CPI has signed Alliances with OSHA Region 5 and Region 6.  These alliances will bring CPI and OSHA experts together to develop important documents and training for the truck bed liner industry.

MSDS provides important information
A material data safety sheet (MSDS) should be provided to you by your truck bed liner system supplier.  An MSDS provides important information about the chemicals associated with truck bed liners and describes proper first aid procedures in the event of accidental exposure.
